The PKLCS series from Murata is an external drive SMD type piezoelectric sounders. These devices take advantage of extensive acoustic and mechanical design technology and high performance ceramics. Murata has developed SMD piezoelectric sounders that suit the thin, high density design of electronic equipment. They can produce not only a single sound but also melodies and other complex sounds enabling it to be used in such applications as operation confirmation sounds, alarms and melodies.
